Marston is an antiques dealer whose shop in Georgetown, the 18th-century area of Washington DC, stocks only European furniture with humble elegance. In 1996 he bought this small house in a big garden in Périgord with his late wife and fellow antiques dealer Julie. The house is furnished with a mix of naive and painted furniture which is his stock in trade.
